=================================== Defend the Gaza Protesters 13th July, 9am, Royal Court of Justice, the Strand WC2A 2LL .JPG "gaza protests") Ten protesters arrested after demonstrating against the invasion of Gaza will appeal against their sentences on Tuesday 13 July. If successful, the appeals will impact on all of the cases and any future cases where the courts try to pass deterrent sentences.
Over 100 people were arrested last year after demonstrating against the Israeli invasion of Gaza. 78 were charged with violent disorder, and many were given deterrent sentences of up to two and a half years for as little as throwing a plastic bottle. This police operation amounts to the persecution of protesters, which is made more alarming by the fact that almost all of those charged are very young and from Muslim backgrounds. Join the picket to demand: - The release of all those imprisoned.
- That all further charges are dropped.
- An end to the intimidation of the Muslim community.
- The right to protest for all.

The campaign of lies and propoganda surrounding the murderous and treacherous attack on the peaceful aid flotilla to Gaza will unravel in coming weeks and months. A vital piece of evidence has come to light in the form of video footage (all laptops, mobiles, video cameras were seized by the Israelis) smuggled off the ship.
The fifteen minute snap-shot is sufficient to pick out the highlights:
1) Laser targetting used by soldiers from the helicopter
2) Stun grenades dropped from helicopter
3) Sub machine gun heard (last week on Newsnight Kirsty Wark asked Mark Regev if what was being shown in CCTV footage from the Mavi Marmara was a "modified Uzi", she asked three times and Mark appeared stumped and did NOT answer the question. Maybe he forgot the party line that it was a paint-ball gun).

Todays Haaretz is running an article about the appointment of a "North Ireland Nobel Laureate" who will observe the Israeli enquiry into its own crimes against humanity in relation to the ships massacre. It turns out thet the distinguished Nobel laureate is the Zionist and sectarian bigot David Trimble who presided with Paisley over the terrorising of the Catholics in Drumcree Trimble recently set up the Friend's of Israel Initiative in conjunction with former Spanish PM Jose Maria Aznar. Aznar, George Bush's best friend in Europe was a member of the Falange (Fascist Party) as a young man and only resigned when the Franco dictatorship collapsed. He continued to work with Fascists in his government when he was Spanish PM.
The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has already repeated that the inquiry & investigation needs to be international and IMPARTIAL.
3) The e-petition on Avaaz.org needs just ANOTHER 7,500 sigantures required to reach half a million!

4) Please remember the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) event on Thursday 17th June 2010, 6.30pm at Claremont Community Centre (13-15 Claremont, BD7 1BG). A Palestinian family who have had their house demolished three times will be talking about their experience as part of a UK tour stopping at 12 UK cities. Try to come along and show solidarity with our families in Palestine.
5) The International Red Cross has called the siege of Gaza illegal. Please note that the Zionists labelled the Red Cross as racist after the Gaza massacre last year.

If you are looking for a cheap date then you can't get cheaper than an Israeli one! Last year many 'Muslim' shops were selling Israeli dates even after they were advised of their direct support to Israel. All Palestinian Trades Unions have announced their support for boycott, sanctions and divestment from Israel even if it means Palestinians lose their jobs. Please familiarise yourself with the international BDS:

Last year Bradford PSC and United 4 Palestine contacted the wholesalers in St James's Fruit & Veg Market to ask if they would be selling Israeli dates during Ramadhan. They all said that they would not be ordering Israeli dates but went ahead and stocked them during Ramadhan.
Why not break your fast with the flesh of the Palestinians?
Why not support the destruction of Al Aqsa with your kind support of the Israeli Occupation.
Why buy other dates when the Israeli Dates are softer & juicier as they are grown on stolen land and watered by the blood and tears of the Palestinians...
There are clear ethical, moral, spiritual and legal reasons why we should NOT consume Israeli dates.
We are launching a Bradford Palestine Solidarity Campaign Boycott Israeli Dates campaign in the next few weeks. Please ask your friends, family, neighbours and retailers to BOYCOTT Israeli dates and all Israeli products. Some of the wholesalers (their details will be released) are also supplying Asian restaurants with Israeli peppers, aubergines, etc. Ask them to STOP feeding the Apartheid State!IsraeLies
